#Armageddon

• Armageddon — The place designated in the biblical Book of Revelation where the kings of the earth will gather for the great final battle of the day of God Almighty; (figurated) a global catastrophe, a devastating war on a planetary scale, or an apocalyptic conflict of cosmic proportions capable of causing total destruction or the end of human civilization.
• Armageddon — A simplified spelling variant, adapted to the current phonetic rules of the Romanian language, for the word 'Armageddon'; it indicates the same theological concept of the final battle of the end times or, broadly, an inevitable catastrophe of colossal proportions threatening a community or the planet.
