- Absoluteness — An archaic, rare, or regional form of the abstract noun 'absolutism' or 'absoluteness', found sporadically in early translations of philosophical and legal texts from the 18th and 19th centuries. Conceptually, the term denoted the state or quality of being sovereign, unconditioned, independent of any external relationship, or possessing a total moral and political authority that brooks no normative limitation.
