#acrosomal

• Acroplastic — Pertaining to the acroplast or associated with the formation and development of the acrosomal complex (acrosome) during the process of spermiogenesis (maturation of male sexual cells). This cellular structural phenomenon describes vesicular elements derived from the Golgi apparatus migrating toward the anterior extremity of the spermatid nucleus, organizing the cap of the spermatozoon head, which is essential for penetrating the ovum membrane at the moment of fertilization.
