#actinotaxis
- Actinotaxis — A particular form of taxis consisting of the characteristic property of certain lower organisms, motile cells, or microorganisms to perform orientation, attraction, or repulsion movements under the direct influence of luminous or other types of electromagnetic radiation emitted by an external source. This structural mechanism guides biological behavior based on the vectors and intensity of the radiant flux.
