• Adenomatosis — A pathological condition characterized by the simultaneous development, excessive proliferation, or appearance of a large number of adenomas (benign tumors of an epithelial-glandular nature) within an organ or secretory tissue. This structural condition alters the normal histological architecture of the affected organ and can evolve, under certain clinical or genetic contexts, toward a malignant transformation (adenocarcinoma).
