#administrative terminology
- Alcade investiture — A hypothetical term, regional variant, or extremely rare corrupted form found in old manuscripts for the process of appointing or exercising the function of an alcade (alcalde); it can also represent a historical graphic confusion for the word 'alcătuire'. In the old Spanish administrative context, it symbolically described the takeover of local power by a magistrate.
- Alignment — The act of aligning or allying and its result; a rare archaic or regional nominal form that denoted the historical process of aligning topographic elements, linearly marking estate boundaries, or establishing a formal association between rural communities or clans. It survives exclusively in old administrative manuscripts as a rudimentary technical term for land surveying.
- Self-guardianship — The act of self-protecting or the state of an entity ensuring its own legal protection and interest management; a process through which an entity exercises full decision-making independence, refusing submission to an external guardian.
