- Amusement — A state of joy, pleasant pastime, or good mood caused by something comical, distracting, or recreational; entertainment. It represents the positive psychological and emotional reaction manifested through a smile or laughter in front of a spiritual, artistic, or social stimulus capable of relaxing the spirit.
- Amusing — The act of amusing oneself or others and its result; the process through which a person has fun, cheers up, or finds relaxation in a recreational activity. Although grammatically correct, the form is less frequent in current speech, often being functionally substituted by the neologism 'amuzament' or the noun 'distracție'.
