#anatomical anomaly
- Angiectopia — A congenital anomaly or an abnormal and faulty anatomical positioning of a blood vessel (artery or vein) in relation to its standard structural landmarks within the organism. This structural phenomenon of vascular ectopia can remain asymptomatic or generate compression syndromes on neighboring organs or tissues, holding significant importance in planning precision surgical interventions.
- Apodia — An extremely rare congenital malformation characterized by the complete, unilateral or bilateral, absence of feet or lower limbs at birth; a severe structural anomaly of embryonic development. In teratological practice, this condition is studied in close connection with dysmelia and phocomelia, representing the early developmental arrest of lower limb buds.
