• Area layout — An early graphical variant or historical transitional form for the word 'arie' (area/surface); a structurally bounded planar extension, open space, or specific territory mentioned in 18th and 19th-century chancellery documents. In an old terminological sense, it reflects direct etymological influences from Latin (area) or Italian prior to the stabilization of modern Romanian orthographic rules.
