#androgametophore

• Androgametophore — A specialized anatomical structure or bearing axis (found in certain lower plants, such as mosses or liverworts) that structurally supports the male reproductive organs (antheridia or androgametangia). This morphological support optimizes the spatial positioning of the male gametophyte, facilitating the efficient release and dispersal of flagellated sperm cells in the presence of water.
