• Angiitis — A medical condition characterized by the inflammation of the wall of a blood vessel (artery, vein, or capillary) or lymphatic vessel, being a variant spelling and clinical synonym of the more common term 'angiitis' or 'vasculitis'. This structural pathology can be triggered by autoimmune processes, infections, or allergic reactions, leading to the narrowing of the vascular lumen, ischemia of the served tissues, and functional impairment of vital organs.
