#angiomalacie
- Angiomalacia — A structural pathological process characterized by the softening, loss of consistency, and degeneration of the wall of a blood vessel (artery or vein). This rare clinical phenomenon, caused by degenerative diseases, severe inflammatory processes (such as necrotizing vasculitis), or local ischemic necrosis, weakens the structural resistance of the vascular lumen, exposing the patient to major risks of aneurysmal dilation, sudden rupture, and massive hemorrhages.
