• Angiomyoma — A benign tumorous formation of a mixed nature, structurally composed of proliferating smooth muscle fibers and a well-defined, dense network of widened blood vessels. Clinically known also as vascular leiomyoma or angioleiomyoma, this histological lesion frequently develops within the deep dermis or subcutaneous tissue of the lower extremities in adults, manifesting as a small, firm nodule that is often painful to the touch or during temperature changes.
