#anisohologamy
- Anisohologamy — A particular form of archaic sexual reproduction found in some unicellular organisms, where the entire body of adult individuals transforms directly into gametes that are unequal in size or mobility before fusion. This cytological process represents a form of asymmetric hologamy, where there is no prior differentiation between somatic and germ cells, the fusion occurring directly between disproportionate mature organisms.
