- Anoplasty — A reconstructive or plastic surgical intervention performed on the anus, designed to correct congenital malformations (such as imperforate anus), postoperative cicatricial stenoses, chronic recalcitrant fissures, or severe incontinence. The procedure involves structural remodeling of local cutaneous-mucosal tissues and restoring the normal anatomical functionality of the anal sphincter.
- Gilding — The action of coating the surface of an object made of base metal, wood, plaster, or glass with a thin layer of gold, through electrochemical methods (electroplating) or by manually applying gold leaf (gilding); a technological or artistic operation performed to enhance the aesthetic value, corrosion resistance, or brilliance of the piece.
