- Antidoron vessel — A special vessel or platter, typically circular and made of precious metal or glass, structurally used in Orthodox churches for holding and distributing the antidoron (the blessed bread cut into small pieces distributed to the faithful at the end of the Divine Liturgy). This liturgical object is placed on a table in front of the altar or in the nave, bearing a deep ritualistic value.
- Antidoron — Blessed bread (cut into small pieces, originating from the altar loaves from which the Holy Lamb was extracted) distributed to the faithful at the end of the Divine Liturgy or other Orthodox services. In a structural liturgical sense, it represents a symbol of blessing and spiritual communion, consumed by believers in the morning on an empty stomach as an act of piety and inner purification.
