#appliances
- Fan heater — A compact electric or mechanical appliance used for the rapid heating of indoor spaces, structurally provided with an integrated fan that aspirates ambient air, forces it to pass over a heated thermal element (electric resistor, hot water or gas radiator), and expels it as a directed stream of warm air.
- Gas stove — A household kitchen appliance used for the thermal preparation of food, consisting of a cooktop with multiple burners and an integrated oven, usually powered by liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas, or electricity. In modern Romanian, the term has become a generalized common noun through the process of eponymy, originating from the name of the bottled gas historically distributed during the communist era.
- Vacuum cleaner — An electrical household appliance or industrial device equipped with a motor that creates a pressure difference (partial vacuum), used to absorb dust, impurities, or liquids from various surfaces and collect them in a bag or special container; as an adjective, it describes any device, organ, or mechanical system capable of performing absorption or attraction through suction.
- To self-clean — To automatically or autonomously eliminate or clean one's own impurities, residues, deposits, or harmful substances through its own built-in constructive, chemical, technological, or biological mechanisms, without requiring direct manual intervention from an external factor. In technology, it describes a smart feature of household or industrial appliances, whereas in ecology it refers to the natural capacity of an aquatic or forest ecosystem to neutralize pollutants.
- Self-cleaning — The act of self-cleaning and its result; a technological feature, automated cycle, or structural ecological process through which an appliance, filter, or natural medium eliminates its accumulated residues and impurities on its own. This property optimizes efficiency, prevents blockages, and extends the lifespan of systems.
