• To Arabize — To subject to or undergo the process of assimilating Arabic culture, language, customs, and traditions; to adopt the Arabic identity or language due to prolonged cultural contact or political assimilation. In its reflexive form, the term describes a community, region, or population that gradually loses its original ethnic or linguistic traits, fully adopting the elements of Arab civilization.
• Arabized — Having undergone the process of Arabization; having adopted the Arabic language, culture, traditions, and identity as a result of a historical or political assimilation process. The term applies to ethnic groups or communities that originally belonged to other cultures, as well as to geographical territories or administrative structures deeply transformed by the Arab element.
