#avrud
- Avrud — A regional, archaic phonetic variant or graphically corrupted form of the toponym and hydronym 'Abrud' (a town and river in the Apuseni Mountains, Alba County). This term appears sporadically in old manuscripts, historical maps, or in the local dialect of certain isolated communities, reflecting the consonantal alternation between 'b' and 'v' specific to phonetic developments in the Daco-Romanian linguistic space.
