• Authentic (archaic) — An archaic, regional form or old phonetic variant of the modern adjective 'autentic' (authentic). Originating from the Greek 'avthentikos' through the Slavonic language in medieval religious and administrative texts of the Romanian space, the term defines a document, object, or testimony whose veracity, originality, and authority are unquestionable, without being altered by falsification.
