#biological morphology
- Anthropomorphy — The state, quality, or trait of being anthropomorphic; the presence of a human shape, structure, or appearance in non-human organisms, objects, or artistic depictions. In biology, the term can describe the degree of external morphological similarity between certain primates and the human species.
- Asymmetry — The absence of symmetry; a structural property of an object, organism, assembly, or phenomenon of not having its component elements arranged equally, proportionally, or mirrored in relation to a point, an axis, or a reference plane. This visual or mathematical imbalance is essential in modern art for creating dynamism, in particle physics, and in biology for describing the delicate morphology of certain organs.
