#blind worship
- To adulate — To admire excessively, blindly, and often servilely a person, a deity, or an idea; to flatter beyond measure, to praise extravagantly, or to display a fanatical cult toward an individual, idol, or political leader. In modern sociological terms, the verb describes the behavior of masses idealizing public figures, celebrities, or authoritative personas, completely ignoring their flaws through expressions of extreme devotion.
