#claudication
- Arteriopathy — A generic name attributed to any disease or organic or functional pathological condition of the arteries, regardless of its etiology (inflammatory, degenerative, or metabolic). In daily clinical practice, the term most frequently refers to peripheral artery disease of the lower limbs, a chronic obstructive condition caused by atherosclerosis that progressively reduces the arterial lumen and peripheral blood flow, causing intense pain during walking (intermittent claudication) and a risk of tissue ischemia.
