#cold hardy aloe
- Lace aloe — A species of perennial succulent plant in the Asphodelaceae family, native to the mountainous regions of South Africa and Lesotho, widely cultivated as an indoor or garden decorative plant due to its remarkable frost and drought resistance. Recently reclassified by some botanists into the genus Aristaloe (as Aristaloe aristata), this plant grows as a dense, low rosette made of lanceolate dark green leaves, covered with white tubercles and ending in long awn-like threads.
