- Anti-rationalist — The feminine form of antiraționalist; a woman, academic work, or theoretical orientation demonstrating opposition to dogmatic rationalism and contesting the primacy of formal logic as the sole path to knowledge. In the context of philosophical analysis, it describes an epistemological perspective or intellectual stance emphasizing intuition, inner experience, faith, or instinct over cold mathematical models.
- Anti-romantic — Opposed to romanticism, the romantic spirit, or excessive sentimentalism; characterized by realism, pragmatism, critical lucidity, and irony. In the history of arts and literature, the term describes writers, works, or cultural movements (such as Parnassianism, naturalism, or early modernism) that reject idealization, melancholy, and escape into fantasy, instead promoting an objective, rational, and direct representation of the human condition.
