#detachment
- abrupt separation — (Medicine, in phrases) A term borrowed from Latin used to describe a sudden detachment, instantaneous rupture, or premature separation of an organ or tissue; found exclusively in clinical contexts (e.g., abruptio placentae).
- Abstraction — The act of abstracting and its result; the mental, logical, and analytical process through which the general characteristics of a category of objects are isolated. In psychology, it defines an individual's state of conscious or unconscious detachment from environmental stimuli, often associated with intense intellectual focus or daydreaming.
- Adiaphora — A state of spiritual indifference, complete detachment, or moral neutrality toward external worldly matters; in Stoic philosophy, it designates the attitude toward things considered 'adiaphora' (indifferent matters that are neither good nor bad in themselves, such as wealth or sickness). This structural term defines a position of axiological neutrality and rational apathy.
- Apoliticism — A social-political conception or doctrine advocating total neutrality, indifference, or non-participation of citizens and organizations in political life, party struggles, or government structures; a movement characterized by apoliticism. In a secondary grammatical sense, it represents the feminine singular form of the adjective apolitical, describing a neutral structure or position.
- Self-detachment — The act of self-detaching and its result; an automated or mechanical process through which a component, module, rocket stage, or auxiliary system separates autonomously from the main body, as a result of a preprogrammed electronic impulse or upon reaching critical physical parameters, without the manual intervention of an operator.
