#dispute resolution
- Adjudicator — A neutral and independent person, with technical or legal expertise, appointed by the parties of a contract or by an authority to quickly resolve a dispute arising during contractual execution. Unlike a judge or commercial arbitrator, their decision has an immediate but temporary enforceable character, meant to prevent project deadlock.
- Amicable — Being understanding, friendly, benevolent, or conciliatory; relating to disputes, conflicts, or litigations that are resolved peacefully through direct talks, negotiations, or agreements between parties, without resorting to courts of law or coercive measures.
- Amicable — Manifesting friendship, goodwill, or a desire for understanding; a term rarely used in modern Romanian as a partial synonym or literary variant for 'amiabil' or 'amical', referring to the peaceful resolution of administrative or contractual disputes.
