#ecosystem resilience
- Self-regeneration — The internal capacity of a living organism, technical system, or ecosystem to restore, repair, or rebuild itself through its own mechanisms, without external intervention or assistance. In biology, it defines the reconstruction of damaged tissues, while in engineering and IT, it refers to the property of materials or software systems to automatically correct errors or structural damages.
