#edible berries
- Amelanchier — A genus of plants, shrubs, or small trees in the Rosaceae family, primarily native to temperate regions of North America, popularly known as 'juneberry', 'serviceberry', or 'shadbush'. These plants are structurally cultivated for their ornamental qualities (spectacular white flowers in spring, colorful autumn foliage) and for their edible, small, globose, dark-purple fruits, which are highly sweet and rich in antioxidants.
