• Autolatry — Cult-like adoration or mystical and absolute veneration of oneself; an extreme and pathological form of egolatry and narcissism where the individual relates to themselves as a divinity or a supreme ideal. In moral analysis and psychoanalysis, the term goes beyond simple vanity, describing a profound spiritual rupture whereby the ego becomes the sole object of worship, erasing any capacity for transcendence or genuine empathy towards others.
