#elections
- Abstentionism — A civic or political attitude manifested by the deliberate refusal to participate in public life, particularly in elections, ballots, or referendums. It can be caused by indifference, a conscious protest against the political system, or a lack of trust in the candidates.
- Anticipated — Having been executed, thought, expressed, or paid before the proper time or before an officially established due date. In a current adjectival sense, it describes an expected event, an intuited reaction, or a legal or administrative measure applied prematurely according to a pre-existing plan.
- Early elections — The plural form for actions, payments, administrative decisions, or events executed or settled before the officially established due date. In a political context, the term most frequently denotes early parliamentary elections organized prematurely, before the end of the normal constitutional mandate, following a government crisis or the dissolution of the legislature.
