#emotional sorrow
- Yearning — A deep and smoldering spiritual suffering, characterized by the blending of feelings of sadness, longing, grief, bitterness, and melancholy. This profoundly lyrical term, specific to traditional Romanian folklore and poetry, describes an intimate pain caused by distance from a loved one, loneliness, or the profound unfulfillments of life.
