- Arenar — An ancient Roman gladiator who fought in the amphitheater arenas; a slave or convict sent to death in public circus spectacles. As a rare adjective, it describes a structural element, a tool, or a person directly related to cleaning, preparing, or managing the sand (arena) within performance spaces or extraction quarries.
- Tenant farming profession — The occupation, status, or profession of a land lessee; a feudal or early modern socio-economic system through which the management and exploitation of estates were transferred to a middleman in exchange for a fixed rent. In historical documents, the term also denoted the period during which a person held this office or the structural abuses associated with the forced collection of rural revenues.
- Autocrat — An official title borne by Byzantine emperors and later adopted by certain medieval rulers in the Romanian Principalities (in charters written in Slavonic or Greek), meaning 'autocrat', 'absolute ruler', or 'sole sovereign'. The term reflects the political concept of full sovereignty, where the monarch's power was considered unlimited by any other earthly authority and legitimized directly through divine right.
