• Anti-totalitarianism — A political doctrine, ideological attitude, or philosophical stance based on the radical rejection of totalitarianism, fascism, state communism, and any form of coercive governmental totality. It represents a conceptual framework that unites various democratic orientations, sharing as a common denominator the defense of the rule of law, the independence of the judiciary, ideological pluralism, and the protection of the individual against the absolute interference of the state apparatus.
