- Gas stove — A household kitchen appliance used for the thermal preparation of food, consisting of a cooktop with multiple burners and an integrated oven, usually powered by liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas, or electricity. In modern Romanian, the term has become a generalized common noun through the process of eponymy, originating from the name of the bottled gas historically distributed during the communist era.
