- Alpiniad — A mass sports competition, championship, festival, or organized gathering of mountaineering, bringing together climbers and mountain rescue teams to scale climbing routes, establish rock speed records, or perform mountain rescue drills. This structural type of sports event, highly popular in the second half of the 20th century, aimed to promote alpine sports and test the technical endurance of participants.
- Half-track — A motor vehicle with hybrid or special propulsion, equipped with tracks instead of wheels (or with wheels on the front axle for steering and tracks on the rear axle for traction), designed for traveling over extremely difficult, rugged, snowy, or muddy terrain. This structural vehicle is widely used in mountain rescue missions, military operations, agriculture, or Arctic explorations.
- Light tracked vehicle — A small-sized tracked or half-tracked motor vehicle used for transporting light goods, ammunition, technical equipment, or personnel across extremely rugged, muddy, or snowy terrain. It represents a compact and more agile variant of the classic tracked vehicle, historically used for military tactical purposes or in modern mountain rescue operations on narrow paths.
