#plant terms
- Small dropwort — A rare regional diminutive for aglică, or a derived term used in certain micro-toponyms and local dialects to designate a young or small-sized plant from the same botanical family. Sometimes incorrectly used in vernacular speech as a synonym for other species with small inflorescences.
- Small gooseberry — A regional popular name used sporadically in Transylvanian dialects to denote the gooseberry species (Ribes uva-crispa) or to designate a smaller, fully undeveloped gooseberry fruit or one from a dwarf variety. It reflects a small linguistic adaptation within the traditional rural pomological vocabulary.
- Small hazel bush — A regional or popular diminutive form for the noun 'alun' (small hazel bush) or rarely used as a hypocoristic term for a small hazelnut or for the hazel dormouse.
