#plasma pH
- Alkalosis — A disturbance of the acid-base balance in the body, characterized by an increase in plasma pH above the normal value of 7.45, resulting from the accumulation of alkaline substances (bases) or excessive loss of acids. It can be metabolic (triggered by severe vomiting or bicarbonate ingestion) or respiratory (caused by hyperventilation).
- Anaplasmosis — An infectious, non-contagious disease caused by gram-negative bacteria of the genus Anaplasma, primarily transmitted through tick bites (especially Ixodes). The condition affects both animals (notably ruminants and dogs) and humans (human granulocytic anaplasmosis). Clinically, it manifests structurally at the blood cell level (where the bacteria parasitize leukocytes or erythrocytes), causing high fever, chills, severe anemia, muscle aches, headache, and leukopenia.
