#prophet amos
- Amos — The name of a Hebrew prophet from the 8th century BC, originating from the small town of Tekoa, considered the author of the eponymous biblical book in the Old Testament. His theological message focused heavily on social justice, condemnation of elite corruption, and a call for absolute morality; his name is also used historically as a masculine given name of Hebrew origin meaning 'burden-bearer'.
