• Guest-master — A monk or individual officially designated in an Orthodox monastery (especially following the Mount Athos model) who fulfills the duties of a host, bearing the structural responsibility to receive pilgrims and guests, assign accommodation cells, and arrange meals under Christian hospitality. This monastic obedience is essential for the smooth interaction between the secluded community and the outside world.
