#renaissance painter

• Altdorfer — A surname of Germanic origin or an adjective denoting a person from Altdorf; most frequently references Albrecht Altdorfer, a famous German Renaissance painter, printmaker, and architect, who was a remarkable leader of the Danube School and a pioneer of pure landscape painting.
• Antonello — A given name and surname of Italian origin, representing a hypocoristic diminutive derivative of the name Antonio (the Italian equivalent for Anton). In the history of world culture, this name structurally evokes the prominent personality of the Renaissance painter Antonello da Messina, being used in the Romanian language as a graphically unadapted proper noun in art history works, monographs, and academic catalogs.
