• Agathis alba — A specific species of large coniferous tree within the genus Agathis, partially synonymous with Agathis dammara, commonly known as the Indonesian kauri or white copal tree. It is highly valued economically for its massive production of a commercial resin called Manila copal, extracted via bark incisions, and for its yellowish-white timber, heavily sought after in luxury carpentry and lightweight shipbuilding.
