#rhythmic foot
- Acatalectic — Possessing the complete number of syllables required by the ideal metrical structure of a verse; a line of poetry in which the final rhythmic foot is complete, without being shortened or lacking its final syllables. In classical Greek and Latin metrics, an acatalectic verse maintains structural prosodic integrity until the end, serving as a standard of rhythmic symmetry in contrast to catalectic (truncated) or hypercatalectic (excessive) verses.
