#rural glossary
- Wild thicket — A corrupt phonetic or graphical variant of the regional term 'arzmarzar', found in certain local transcriptions or old administrative documents from lowland regions. The word refers to the same degraded bushes or rough thickets used by peasants in the past for various rudimentary household utilities.
- Thorny thicket — A very rare regional variant, likely a local phonetic alteration of the term 'arzmarzar' (arzmazar), used in isolation in dialects at the edge of the Danube plains to denote dry bramble thickets, rigid thistles, or the thorny boundary shrub utilized by peasants to fence animal pens.
