#scorched area
- Arsoi — A regional augmentative term used to describe a huge fire, an extensive burn, or a place heavily scorched by flames; in a local archaeological and historical context, it can designate a structural area within an ancient settlement that shows massive traces of calcination and large-scale firing hearths. The term is rare, being a derived structure with expressive value used to amplify the idea of destruction or transformation by the violent action of fire.
