#self-worship
- Self-admiration — The act of admiring oneself or its result; excessive and often unjustified admiration for one's own person, appearance, intelligence, or achievements. In clinical psychology, it is considered a core component of narcissistic behavior and ego-centered personality disorders.
- Self-admiration — A feeling of deep, often exaggerated and uncritical admiration that a person harbors toward themselves, their own qualities, actions, or physical appearance; a state of eccentric self-satisfaction structurally approaching the manifestations of narcissism.
- Autolatry — Cult-like adoration or mystical and absolute veneration of oneself; an extreme and pathological form of egolatry and narcissism where the individual relates to themselves as a divinity or a supreme ideal. In moral analysis and psychoanalysis, the term goes beyond simple vanity, describing a profound spiritual rupture whereby the ego becomes the sole object of worship, erasing any capacity for transcendence or genuine empathy towards others.
