#silver wattle
- Cootamundra wattle — A remarkable species of small to medium-sized ornamental tree, native to a restricted area in New South Wales, Australia, but widely naturalized in Mediterranean and temperate regions worldwide. The plant is highly prized in landscaping due to its evergreen, bipinnate foliage with a spectacular bluish-green or silvery (glaucous) tint, and its early late-winter flowering, when the canopy becomes completely covered in dense clusters of fluffy, intensely fragrant, bright golden-yellow globular flowers.
