- Amphitryon — A welcoming person who receives guests at their home, offering them hospitality, food, and entertainment; a generous host organizing a reception, a banquet, or a social event. In a cultural sense, the term stems from Greek mythology, where Amphitryon (the king of Thebes) became the symbol of refined hospitality through plays written by Plautus and Molière.
- Boorishness — An act, word, or behavior characteristic of a churl; a manifestation marked by a lack of education, coarseness, vulgarity, and the total absence of common decency in social interactions. The term defines the act itself or the moral trait of an unrefined person.
- Huge churl — An augmentative and pejorative form of 'bădăran'; a large-framed man or an individual displaying extremely coarse, rude, and ill-mannered behavior in society. As an adjective, it characterizes a gross, strident attitude or a physical manifestation completely devoid of social refinement.
