- Apophaticism — A theological and spiritual orientation, foundational in Eastern Christianity, asserting that God is absolutely transcendent and unknowable to the human mind, and can only be known by negating all created attributes; negative theology. This mystical doctrine places direct spiritual experience and ecstasy above standard rational, dogmatic, or scholastic definitions.
- All-patient — Possessing unmeasured, endless, and unwavering patience; capable of enduring any suffering, trial, or injustice without rebelling. Often used as a religious epithet for divinity, saints, or martyrs, the term describes a supreme moral virtue based on absolute tolerance and deep compassion.
- Self-meditation — The act or practice of meditating alone, without the guidance of an instructor, therapist, or external audio track; a profound process of conscious introspection and mental centering achieved through one's own breathing, concentration, and visualization techniques. In transpersonal psychology, it represents an advanced form of emotional self-regulation and spiritual exploration through which the individual quiets their thought stream, analyzes their inner states, and seeks to achieve mindfulness or existential clarity in full autonomy.
