#style imitation
- To self-pastiche — To consciously or unconsciously imitate one's own style, themes, motifs, or creative techniques used in previous works; to create a pastiche of one's own artistic structures, repeating successful formulas without introducing real aesthetic innovation. Unlike self-parody, which carries a caricatural and subversive intent, the act of self-pastiche tends to maintain the original tone and mannerism, often becoming a sign of creative exhaustion or fixation within a comfortable formula.
